This scholarship is made available by the Environmental Education Foundation, Inc. The EEF is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of environmental education and /or the creation of awareness to environmental problems in the Geneva Lakes area. This is done primarily through the awarding of scholarships to local students.

The Environmental Education Foundation offers a scholarship of up to $1500.00 annually to qualified college juniors or seniors pursuing a degree in natural sciences at an accredited college or university. Each candidate's academic record, professional goals, relevant work experience and Geneva Lake area past or present residency are evaluated when selecting the top candidate. Annual application to the Foundation is required.
