The EEF offers financial support to Yerkes Observatory for their community outreach programs. Yerkes offers several student and teacher enrichment programs on astronomy, planets and moons. Using Yerkes resources of computer labs and telescopes students and teachers can be involved in observing the sky at different times and places around the globe. The Foundation accepts applications and selects the Yerkes programs to be supported, and works with the Yerkes staff to plan and conduct these programs. The Foundation focuses its support on programs targeted on participation of Geneva Lake area teachers and students.
