The Environmental Education Foundation (EEF) has been supporting environmental education in the Geneva Lake area for over 25 years. In addition to scholarships for undergraduate and graduate work, we have provided funding for K-12 students to attend summer camps and career workshops. We have also offered funding in the form of mini-grants to teachers interested in pursuing environmental projects.

Beginning in 2006, under our mini-grant program, we would like to make it known that the EEF would consider supporting schools that need assistance in providing Outdoor Education experiences. We understand that tight budgets have cut into the ability of schools to sustain previous levels of funding for Outdoor Education, and some schools have had to scale back or eliminate these wonderful programs. The EEF is willing to financially assist schools in this predicament and preserve Outdoor Education opportunities for students.
