Up to $2500.00 in grants is made available to local schools that support a local project or activity that will promote environmental education and increase environmental awareness in the Geneva Lake area. Grant proposals are submitted to the Foundation and reviewed by its Board. The number of grants and dollar amount awarded per grant are at the Board's discretion. Grants can be awarded to lay people, students, teachers, or anyone interested in the goal of area environmental education through local schools and is compatible with the goals of the Foundation.
Past Recipients Include:
- Big Foot High School Water Quality Science Project
- Sponsorship of Badger High School Students to attend the Jane Goodall Institute National Conference
- Faith Christian School classroom science equipment and related environmental studies materials
